What If I Am Not Ready ?

If you are not ready to face the possibility that you might have an Eating Disorder remember that acceptance of a problem and being able to actually begin to work on the issues involved take time.

If you can, begin to educate yourself about Eating Disorders and begin to explore why you think you may have developed an unhealthy relationship with food. Did something happen in your life recently? Are you under a great deal of stress at home or school?

Understanding what our problem is and realizing that we are not alone in our struggles can sometimes make the hard step of reaching out for help a little bit easier.

If you still feel you aren’t ready for help remember that the help won’t go away when you are ready. Resources are available, and by visiting this website you have already come into contact with one resource you can utilize again.
