Getting Ready For Help |

Recognizing and accepting a need for help can be a very difficult, yet important step in recovering from an Eating Disorder. To make positive and successful changes in our behaviours we first need to admit that there is a problem. Ready for Help means being able to identify where you are at with your eating habits and behaviours. We have provided a continuum for you to locate where you might be with your relationship with food and make appropriate decisions based on that and your comfort level. There are worksheets to help you, a Self Check and an article on steps that you can take in getting help that is right for you. We have also provided some Links and Resources that may be helpful and an Inspiration Section with works from others who have struggled with an Eating Disorder. |
